K+C OfficeKiss + Cathcart is an active and versatile architectural practice that has completed a wide range of project types while maintaining high standards of design, economy, and ecological soundness. Our work addresses the specific aspects of every project and develops inventive and convincing responses to them. As an integral part of our design research, we explore the potential of sustainable materials and technologies to satisfy the perennial needs of function, value, and comfort. Kiss + Cathcart is recognized as a world leader in combining solar, or photovoltaic (PV), technology and architectural design.

Since founding the office in 1983, Gregory Kiss and Colin Cathcart have completed projects from high-technology manufacturing facilities and public institutions to homes, retail stores, and restaurants, both as new construction and renovation. Working at every scale, from product design to urban planning, the firm has pioneered the use of computer- aided design in architectural practice and remains at the forefront of digital rendering and drawing production technology today. Completed projects by Kiss + Cathcart range from 30,000 to 200 million dollars, and the firm has consulted on projects valued in excess of 200 million dollars; we are skilled at getting the most from any budget.
